If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

When nobody died....We'd see the day,
we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day when nobody died

Another on the 16 year old recently diagnosed with ALS:

http://www.kspr.com/news/local/19341304.html

and read the post from the mom whose daughter was diagnosed at age 23 -- 14 years ago and still with us!! Remarkable !

I am most amazed that there doesn't seem to be a handbook of sorts to help all you young people (yes you are young Drew) to know what to do when - from financial aspects -- what's covered, how to penetrate the system, how to tap into the funding for home remodeling to accomodate the patient, etc. People like yourself, like this girl -- who are so young and may not have the financial wherewithal, medical coverage, life insurance, other funding to ease the stress of the financial impact so the patients can focus on the right things and be void of this type stress.
